• Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the operational needs of the establishment.
• Physical Abilities: Capable of lifting and carrying 10-50lbs, prolonged periods of walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and bending as required during cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Accommodation Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of 16 different types of accommodations, ensuring they meet established standards.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and commitment to fulfilling job duties on time and as scheduled.

Job Duties

• Communication and Coordination:

  • Ensure that all work orders and projects related to cleaning and maintenance are understood and completed promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Room and Cabin Cleaning:
  • Clean inn rooms and cabins according to Sandpiper Resort’s standard of excellence.
  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.
    • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
    • Removing trash and recyclables.
  • Pay attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Laundry Duties:
  • Perform daily laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
  • Ensure laundry tasks are completed efficiently and according to established procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of linens and notify supervisors of any shortages or issues.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections of cleaned rooms and cabins to ensure they meet Sandpiper Resort’s standard of excellence.
  • Address any deficiencies or areas needing improvement promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the property.
